    Job Summary


    As an IT Quality Assurance Analyst, you will provide professional knowledge and skills in information systems software testing, quality assurance and quality control of application software and systems. This includes the quality of the coding itself and not just the outcome of the application execution. You will also promote appropriate testing methodologies, striving to identify and manage defects in the software systems.   

    *Note: This position is temporary and includes full state fringe benefits; it is anticipated to last up two years**


    Qualifications


    Minimum Qualifications:

    Candidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume:

     

    This position requires a minimum of three (3) years of experience in performing IT quality analysis functions. 

     

    Experience must include:

    • Creating business relevant test cases, test plans, and data procedures.
    • Participating in formal review of business requirements and application design.
    • Coordinating test schedules and/or assisting in management of progress of all test activities against the test plan.
    • Executing or assisting in the execution of project regression testing tasks and user acceptance testing
    • Conducting regression testing; analyze and report overall test status and results.
    • Create data queries. 

    **Successful candidate must pass past-employer reference checks and a criminal history verification**

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Intermediate level experience in manual testing and foundational experience in automated testing and the ability to execute test scripts.
    • Experience in assisting in the performance of risk analysis at the project management or release level.
    • Experience assisting with manual and/or automated scripts.
    • Ability to work on moderately complex projects.
    • Strong background in process management using industry standard software development methodologies. 
    • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally, present complex information to users in a comprehensive style, and translate technical and system information for non-technical stakeholders. 
    • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team. 
    • Ability to organize, prioritize multiple deadlines, and work independently to define problems as they arise, and to recommend alternative solutions.
    • Experience in warehouse concepts and data mart testing.
