    ddms, inc. is expanding its development team. We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to help continue our development and execution of an effective software quality strategy. The strategy is expected to encompass both process and tooling while complying with industry best practices. This technical role supports client advocacy by contributing in requirement gathering, testing, training and help documentation.

    The successful candidate will be capable of understanding and supporting client needs throughout the development process, from requirements elicitation to production support. Candidate will perform rigorous quality assessment tests along various points of the software development process including testing, staging and production environments. As part of the development team, you will be encouraged to utilize the best and latest tools, methodologies and ideas in your work. ddms is committed to staying with the latest and greatest in software and technology.

    Required Responsibilities:

    • Continue to evolve the design, documentation and implementation ddms’ QA strategy;
    • Support and promote the strategy within the company;
    • Work with other company thought leaders on other tangential processes like Continuous Delivery and Dev Ops;
    • Become an expert user of ddms software;
    • Participate in requirements gathering;
    • Review requirements documents, mock-ups and provide feedback;
    • Review technical documents with the technical staff in order to gain a deeper understanding of needed testing;
    • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases that ensure products meet design requirements;
    • Estimate, prioritize and plan testing activities;
    • Coordinate testing efforts with other staff. Mentor staff on best practice approaches to testing;
    • Document and track all issues and defects and help prioritize related issues;
    • Support defect tracking software and process;
    • Create and maintain user documentation;
    • Must be a self-motivator, able to work independently and as part of a team; and
    • Wicked smart.
